Motion Graphics - On Adobe After Effects

Ever wanted to know how YouTubers create those fantastic effects before their videos? Or wanted to edit your own but didn't know where to start?

Motion graphics are all the static graphics you create set into play in 2D space on screen. Create refreshing visuals, prototypes, animations of your liking and make your Instagram / Facebook / YouTube come alive with custom made effects synced with exciting sound tracks! This workshop will cover all the basics of after effects and its use to create amazing motion effects/videos for your needs. Walk out with built videos, templates and all the arsenal you want to create stunning motion videos.

Structure:

Day1: Stimulation

Instructions: -Interface overview -Basic Shapes + Keyframing + Timelines

Stimulative Exercises: (Any 3 based on preference/pace)

• Shape and compositions

• Keyframing and Presets / Effects
• Stock footage using - Keying

Day 2: (Any 3-4 exercises / based on group pace)

• Trailer making - Script
• Character styling
• After effect templates
• Sound track synchronization
• Making your own trailer
• Application mock up / App mockup
• VR videos
• High quality video Memes

TOOLS:

All participants will be given the following software: - Adobe After Effects 2018 (Trial)

You can carry your: - Blank Sketchbook - Pen/Markers of your choice

REQUIREMENTS:

• There are no prerequisites, anyone from any background or an enthusiast interested in digital arts/branding are invited for this workshop.
• Prior understanding of static sketches and visual arts will help.
• Participants should bring their own laptop computer with above mentioned software installed. If you need software on spot then you may arrive at the venue. Further details will be sent to the registered participants. (Minimum RAM in computer not less than 4GB)
